Born from a love of all things automotive, Your Warranty Team’s founders wanted the second-hand buying process to have more stability. Producing custom programs to underwrite mechanical issues that can mess up your day was the plan. And, well, that plan was a big success. 54blue untangled the complicated product offering from the brand message. Streamlining all logic and copy, we crystallized the offering to the consumer, making buying decisions much more straightforward.

Spearheaded by Brand Director Jamie Calon, the project was broken down into its essential elements, revealing a trustworthy brand with a great product offering. The brand was retooled with new logos, a solidified brand ethos, and a clear direction. Along the way, a new brand with a different focus was crafted along with the gentle massaging of old product logos to fit the new look.

With the brand direction cemented, the design team sunk their teeth into everything from core color schemes and logos to the smallest of details. This full complement of design elements set the stage for the development of all internal- and external-facing documents and advertising.

When a company produces documents as a presentation to the consumer, they need to be polished. 54blue curated a selection of paper stock with a premium look and feel. On the larger print side, we designed and produced banners and a variety of trade show elements that extend the brand into the market with a laser sharp focus.With the brand direction in place, our interactive team got to work coming up with a fresh, modern website to help showcase Your Warranty Team’s products. Glenmore Maternity supports and empowers women to take care of their health throughout their pregnancy with preconception, prenatal and postpartum care.

From revamping the website, to reimagining print materials and other marketing collateral, 54blue worked closely with the Glenmore Maternity team to elevate their presence in the marketplace.

54blue worked with the team at Glenmore Maternity to envision a fresh and modern approach to their branding across all mediums. The goal for Glenmore Maternity was to have a website that presented information from multiple resources in a simplified, user friendly manner. In maternity care, there are hundreds of resources spread out across multiple agencies and websites. 54blue compiled the information provided and presented it in a visually logical way that makes it easily accessible for patients. While also showcasing the entire team, clinic and delivery rooms. We produced a fresh suite of marketing collateral ranging from information sheets to brochures and business cards.

4iiii Innovations believes in empowering athletes by providing them with all the tools they need to get the most accurate results.  From recreational riders and runners to its sponsored professional teams, 4iii creates tools that help customers train for a personal best or podium finish.

The 54blue 3D and Manufacturing team worked closely with 4iiii to design and build both a premium and economy set of retail displays.

The 3D design of the concept went through a few iterations. During this phase, the apparent direction of having both a premium display and an economy version was identified. At a considerable cost savings over the beautiful premium display, the economy display comes packed with features.

Flat packed for cost savings, the economy display unit seamlessly assembles without tools, using powerful magnets. The box is packed with both styles of 4iiii power meters along with magnets that allow the retailer to front the one that generates the most sales. With a convenient brochure pocket on the back, this compact display has everything needed for successful retailing.

The displays have been shown to be impactful, and with some small iterations, multiple production runs have moved this display around the globe.

Real estate can be overwhelming; buying a house is a huge investment of time and money. After the tenth open house, things can begin to blur together. 54blue was contracted by Calgary realtor, Shaun Sweetnam, to make the process of home buying more interactive and memorable.

Shaun is a trusted face in Calgary real estate and wanted to get creative with his personal brand as a real estate agent. 54blue designed new business cards and professional letterheads for client takeaways. For open houses, in addition to the classic brochure, we created feature cards that are placed throughout the house to highlight specific characteristics and qualities when clients are doing the walkthrough.

In development, to complete the branding package, is an interactive and responsive website to really engage and connect the potential home buyer. With a heavy focus on client experience, home buying in Calgary is about to get a lot more fun.

After building a state of the art arena to host a multitude of athletes and sporting events, Winsport Canada has been working to make sure that the facilities stay up to date and fresh with the latest and greatest. Under Armour was named the title sponsor at Winsport this year, meaning they have the rights to create a space that inspires and elevates not only the athletes but also the athlete experience; they hired 54blue to do the job.

After painting the walls to match the Under Armour’s colour, 54blue then installed the vinyl branding and iconic Under Armour mantras in a variety of dressing rooms throughout the facility. Branded boldly and beautifully, the dressing rooms are used by the athletes before every game or practice for an assortment of sporting events.

Lululemon Athletica Inc., as an organization, has become an advocate and ambassador for yoga and the foundation practice of each individual. It has created a space and community that supports many in their quest to find a balance in life and in practice.

54blue has been working to create interactive retail windows for a local Lululemon store. The interactive windows are changed frequently to show the parallels between the community and Lulelemon’s message of intent, to create components for people to live longer, healthier and fun lives.

With much experience working with consumer experience and environments, 54blue relishes the chance to work with Lululemon and to use that experience to encourage advancement of the individual and community.

With so many moving parts, putting on events in conjunction with Montreal’s Formula One race takes a ton of organization and precise execution. 54blue is always happy to take part in all of the action

Leading up to and during the Formula One race, the Ferrari X Oakley collaboration collection took over window fronts at the Oakley O-Stores and independent retailers all over the province of Québec. The windows were nothing short of intricate, Oakley pulling out all of the stops with a variety of 54blue print work. The window fronts included; large window clings, die-cut vinyl logos and lettering, and giant Gator Board cutouts of eyewear. The custom designed eyewear pedestals were vinyl wrapped alupanel with an added acrylic perch for premium eyewear to sit on. The piece de resistance for each window was the giant acrylic model cutouts of an F1 car, reverse printed on optically clear vinyl and then cut with precision on 54blue’s CNC router.

Just a few short days leading into to race weekend, the Oakley Canada team held an exclusive Learn-to-Ride event on the Formula One track in Montreal. Oakley’s learn to ride events take celebrities and professional athletes out of their element to teach them the proper way to surf, mountain bike, golf… or in this case drive a car. As professionals by professionals. The Oakley VIPs put their driving skills to the test on the track with Ferrari specialists and trainers in current line model Ferraris. As 54blue has done many times in the past, the event was wrapped with the perfect Oakley collateral leaving the attendees with an amazing branded experience.

When race weekend began, the team was ready and outfitted for a successful event. Oakley Canada hit the ground running… or driving… hit the ground driving really, really fast.

As the newest addition to Winsport’s Performance Training Centre, 54blue and PowerWatts© teamed up to create a high-performance training gym – The Chamber©.

The first of it’s kind in Western Canada, The Chamber© by PowerWatts© is a training system that uses professional stationary bikes and computer technology to track and optimize performance and fitness for high level athletes to train in and out of their sport season.

Familiar faces to Winsport and the athletic world, 54Blue used 3d design technology to create a functional space that includes a reception area, coaching lounge, and warm up area that sits adjacent to the main cycling gym. During the construction process 54blue handled custom millwork, added new floors, implemented new electrical schematic and an HVAC ventilation system. New paint and matte printed wall fabric was added for relevant branding. To finalize the space, the team from PowerWatts© planted their technical bikes and monitors in the space bringing The Chamber© to life.

This truly is a one of a kind space that will torture and delight high-performance athletes for years to come.
