WINSPORT CANADA IMPACT LAB RETAIL CONCEPT
WHAT WE DID
As a long standing client of 54blue, Winsport Canada™ sought out aid to create a retail concept that educates consumers and sells safety equipment for high impact gravity sports. The ‘Impact Lab’ brand was conceived and with the help of two top quality manufacturing sponsors, Oakley™ and Giro™, 54blue was provided all the crucial information necessary for this education zone.
The science section at the Impact Lab was built using three ANSI approved tests for eye protection and a series of impact tests for head gear. A baseline concussion test and proper helmet fitting display were subsequently added in to round off the education component.
54blue was involved in all things for this buildout; designing concepts, fabricating the infrastructure and printing and installing brand appropriate graphics on multiple surfaces.
‘Impact Lab’ is the first of it’s kind and has become a valuable tool for education and prevention of injury – a strong presence in building a healthy athlete community in Calgary.
